My interests include a deep love of nature and hiking which frequently takes me to Shenandoah National Park or George Washington National Forest. An avid runner, I have completed the Richmond Half Marathon twice. I love spending time with friends and family or curling up on my couch with a good book. Additionally, I enjoy co-leading a women’s bible study, and am actively involved in a local church.
I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in acute care medicine at the University of Virginia and later Virginia Commonwealth University. While I have historically cared for a majority adult population managing acute complications of chronic illnesses, my passion is working with people of all ages and stages of life.
